(¸.*´ (¸.*`¤~ Here is my Autumn Leaf Box! This handmade cherry box measures 6 1/4" wide and 6 1/4" deep and 10" tall. A great box with two toned brown and gold feet and adorned with whispy brown eyelash trim. The top opens by way of a wooden lift off lid and a knob that once adorned a handsome but now empty Don Julio tequila bottle.
Inside, the bottom is lined with sultry black velvet. The inside rim is painted with gold and on the inner lift off lid the wording:

I don't believe in aging.
I believe in forever altering
ones aspect to the sun.

Please look at all the photos to see the handfuls of leaves I've used on this collectable treasure box. Emblazoned with all kinds of deciduous leaves. This handmade box beckons to be set upon a mantle or bookshelf and shyly listen to the compliments it will get in your home or office! Boxes this size could be used for funeral urns to hold our beloved in a most artful way.

★ Affirmations Table ★

Sometimes projects come together in a wonderful way over a period of time! Objects find their destiny as do people.
This was one of them!
Pictured above is a table with some history! It was found 15 years ago along a busy Indianapolis road, cast away from people
that no longer wanted or needed it. Its foot was injured. We saved it! For a while we used it. Then we too stowed it away.
Last fall we brought it back to life by sanding it. Jon altered the damaged foot by reshaping it. It got stamped with loving words and I made beads to adorn the sides as fringe.
Last fall it became one of 3 tables in my Waldron Art Center exhibit and lived in a Bloomington gallery for 4 weeks.
Now it lives up in our guest loft where friends spend the night.
It seems to like its new home!
Jon photographed it last week and it's currently under consideration to be included in Lark Books 500 Tables.
Even if it's not selected..........
...it's come a long way baby!!
