Steampunk Box

What's old is new and often revisited.
Such is the case with the steampunk movement in design.
Gears.
Movement.
Innovation.
Action.

An era when things were
built
invented
constructed.

Smokestacks and glass block windows.
A grid of light.
The hum of factories filled the air
and lined the pockets of workers
who
wore time pieces
and hard soled shoes
walked to work
heard lunch whistles blow
punched time clocks
wore aprons and visors to shield them
from the
dust
dirt
ink
innovation
Being created
by machinery
printing presses
fire
flux

and their hands.

On etsy.
$75.00

"What's old is new and often revisited." So true? Does that apply to us human beings as well?
